**Decoration Information**: *The entire idol is made by me at home using natural clay and colors, making it completely #Ecofriendly*. Every year, we try to present a social theme, and our Ecofriendly Bappa has received several awards from various organizations. *This year, we have created a new concept - why is Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj called the Father of the Indian Navy? Through Ganesh Utsav, we want everyone to know the history of Maharaj’s naval contribution to India . 
The ship is also made Ecofriendly by making use of used Cardboards and Paper. 

**Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s Naval Achievements**:

During the medieval period, no Hindu or Muslim ruler in India had established a navy. Even the Mughal emperors were powerless when it came to the seas, and their rule did not extend to maritime control. In such a situation, Shivaji Maharaj, despite the unfavorable political climate, made efforts to establish a navy, which was a monumental achievement of that time. It was due to his efforts that he became known as *The Father of the Maratha Navy* and *The Creator of the Indian Mercantile Marine*. Maharaj's navy protected the Konkan coastal regions from the raids of the Siddi, Portuguese, and other European powers.

The people of the Konkan region experienced peace and security. The ports along the coastline, and the trade conducted through them, were also safeguarded by the Maratha navy. With the development of ships, Maratha dominance over the sea was established. As per the rules of that time, the Marathas were now able to claim ownership over ships that ran aground on the shores. Earlier, sea travel required a license from the Portuguese, but Maharaj overturned this authority.

I have made eco-friendly turmeric ganesha using materials like turmeric,sugar,oil,maida,water,pepper and made this beautiful ganesha.

I have made Eco-freindly Bappa from over 300 cotton rolls in original packing. Height of the idol is 4 feet 10 inches. I have made medical city with generic medicine and surgical items this year. Now all the items will be donated to Home for Aged, NGO, etc as i have made sure the original items is not damaged.

Evaan is 11 year old. He is making Ganpati since last 6 years. He has made Bappa from chocalte, sadu matti, clay, tree Ganesha in past. This year he has made Bappa from soap.

This year we habe made ganpati idol with drawstring (nada) first we dyed the drawstring in multi color and with help of paper base we habe made ganpati idol of drawstring. This year our theme was "Music acts like a magic key to the strings of colored emotions of our heart". That is why we use drawstring because in many instrument there are strings and colored to show different emotions. We took 3 nights to make idol and 3 night to make decoration. And this drawstring we are going to use as a embroidery on saree and will donate to needy. Even this year we are planning to give all the decor stuff in some play school whoever wants it. Everything is made by us. Me and my wife salonee jain. 100% reusable.

We are crafting Ganesha idol from shadu clay. We are reusing the clay for fifth time by immersing the idol at home. We have been practicing eco friendly decoration for about two decades. We use eco friendly material such as corrugated boxes, cardboard, ply wood, particle board, tinted paper, velvet paper, etc. We don’t use thermocol, plastic, plaster of paris, etc.

Eco Friendly Ganesh Idol

I made an eco-friendly Ganesha idol entirely from bamboo sticks, without using any other material. The bamboo sticks formed the entire structure of the idol. I also made bamboo teapoy to place the idol. The entire setup was focused on using only bamboo materials. This kept the decorations simple, eco-friendly, and biodegradable. The use of bamboo made the celebration more sustainable and environmentally responsible.
