Drawing contest on ganesh chaturthi 2022

Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturti or Vinayaka Chaviti, is a hindu festival that falls between 22 August and 20 September every year. It is a Hindu festival celebrating the arrival of Lord Ganesh to earth from Kailash Parvat with his mother Goddess Parvati/Gauri. The festival is marked with the installation of Lord Ganesh's clay murtis privately in homes and publicly on elaborate pandals. The celebrations of the festival include chanting of Vedic hymns and prayers. Offerings are distributed from the pandal to the community, which include sweets such as modaka which is believed to be a favorite of Lord Ganesh. The festival ends on the tenth day after start, when the idol is immersed in a nearby body of water such as a river or sea, which is called visarjan. The dissolution of the clay idol into the water body is believed to mark the return of Lord Ganesha to Parvati and Shiva in Mount Kailash.
