Durga puja navratri 2022 drawing contest

Durga Puja or Sharadotsav, is an annual Hindu festival in India which celebrates the victory of Hindu Goddess Durga over Mahishasur. This festival is also known as Navratri or Sharada Navaratri. It spans over a period of 9 days in western part of India and 10 days in easter and North eastern part of India.

In these days of festivals people conducts various rituals and recites hymns & scriptures to praise Goddess Durga a purest form of Shakti also known as divine energy

Navratra also know as Navrati i.e Nine nights is generally held in months of September -October and majorly celebrated for 10 days in West Bengal, Assam, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, eastern Nepal, Tripura, and nearby regions and other Northeastern states of India as Durga Puja.

Is other parts of India it is celebrated as Navartri in cities Ayodhya, Varanasi, Vrindavan, Almora, Satna and Madhubani – cities in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh. In this part of india the Navratri festival is marked by numerous events which includes songs, narration, recital and dialogue based Lor Ram and Ravana.

This year 2022 Durga Puja or Navratri will be celebrated on the following dates as per the days of Incarnation or avtar associated with goddess Durga.

• Day 1- (26 September) – Shailaputri
• Day 2 - (27 September) – Brahmacharini
• Day 3 - (28 September) – Chandraghanta
• Day 4 - (29 September) – Kushmanda
• Day 5 - (30 September) – Skandamata
• Day 6 - (1 October) – Katyayani
• Day 7 -(2 October) – Kaalaratri
• Day 8 - (3rd October) - Mahagauri
• Day 9 – (4th October) -Siddhidatri

Theme: Draw an image of Durga Maa on occasion of Navratri / Durga Puja

Contest Rules:

The submission should be in any medium like paper, chart paper etc with pen, pencil or any type of colors

It should also include your one liner message/slogan for the theme

It should be original & hand drawn

You can upload maximum of 5 Images  of your artwork from different perspective

• Take 3 photos from different angle
• Take  at least 1 photos while you are drawing/painting i.e. when the 50% of the work is completed
• Take one photo of artist with final artwork (optional)

Age Group: Any  

Winners will be awarded Gifts only  if there are 10+ participants. Else first 3 best ranks will get the eCertificate of participation
