Krishna Janmashtami, also known simply as Krishnashtami, Janmashtami, is an annual Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu. In certain Hindu texts, such as the Gitagovinda, Krishna has been identified as supreme God and the source of all avatars.

Also known as Gokulashtami, celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. It falls on the eighth day of the dark fortnight in the month of Bhadrapada. Devotees observe fasting, engage in devotional singing and dancing, and celebrate with enthusiasm. The tales of Krishna's birth in Mathura, his playful childhood in Vrindavan, and his wisdom-filled teachings are central to this celebration.

Contest Rules:

The submission of the drawing contest can be in any form

It can be drawn on any paper like regular stationery or drawing paper or any surface suitable for color pencil drawing

To participate, strictly follow the rules (read full):

• Ensure that the artwork/photo you upload is original.
• Take photos of your artwork/photo from the beginning steps, including creating the outline, shading, and coloring if applicable.
• Writing name & date with black PEN in each entry is mandatory.
• Previously created artwork/photo are not considered and will be disqualified for winner evaluation
• Any artwork/photo without the mentioned steps will not be considered for winning.
• First 2 Winners will receive Medals and rest ecertificates, and appreciation.
