Makar sankranti 2023 painting competition

sankranti day is dedicated to Lord Sun. It also refers to a specific solar day in the Hindu calendar. On this auspicious day, the sun enters the zodiac sign of Capricorn or Makar which marks the end of winter months and the beginning of longer days.

Makara/Makar Sankranti or Uttarayan or Maghi or simply Sankranti, also known in West Bengal as Mokor Sonkranti, in Mithila as Til Sakraait and in Nepal as Maghe Sankranti, 'Sankranti' here means ‘transfer’, this day is considered as the transition day of Sun into Capricorn.

Contest Rules:

The submission should be in any medium like paper, chart paper etc with coloured pencils, charcoal, pencils, oil pastels, oil paints, crayons etc

It should also include your one liner message/slogan for the theme

You can upload maximum of 5 Images of your artwork from different perspective

• Take 3 photos from different angle
• Take at least 1 photos while you are drawing/painting i.e. when the 50% of the work is completed
• Take one photo of artist with final artwork (optional)

Age Group: Any 

Winners will be awarded Gifts only if there are 10+ participants. Every contestant gets eCertificate of participation (first 3 ranks with ranks mentioned on the certificate)
